Star Wars Day at Frank and Son Collectible Show was AWESOME!
By admin on February 21st, 2010Posted In: blog
Sadly Star Wars day at the Frank and Son Collectible show is over…but for Mat Nastos and I, Star Wars Day is every day.
The event had an amazing turnout of fans dressed in Jedi, Sith and robotic garb. It was crazy fun and everyone was just celebrating the awesomeness of Star Wars.
All the local LA Star Wars groups including the Saber Guild, 501st, the Mandalorian Mercs and more…They all showed showed up and made this a really memorable event and made Frank and Son’s a very electric place with everything from music and videos to Lightsaber battles. Below, are some examples. Darth Revan is one of my favorite characters ever to draw.
But maybe the best part about yesterday, were the Star Wars “stars” who showed up to sign autographs and mingle with fans.
Ray Park (AKA Darth Maul)
And Daniel Logan (AKA young Boba Fett)
And I got a chance to do some custom cards for the various groups of Star Wars enthusiasts.
And 12 Parsec studios (Me and Mat Nastos) were joined by other prolific Star Wars artists such as Randy Martinez and Pete from Galactic Binder.
Keep your eyes open for the exclusive limited edition Sketch cards we created all day as they will be hitting the market soon!
Thanks – Darth Hef, Dark Lord of the sketch
