I am very grateful that you have come to my website!
My name is Hal Hefner. I am the creator of Gates, Heavy Metal Magazine’s first online comic book. Gates, is a digitally painted webcomic and the first installation of the epic Transmedia franchise. Gates is a science fiction story spanning thousands of years and across multiple media platforms. It deals with all sorts of fun philosophical, political, social and religious issues and it is a commentary and the current state of humankind.
It is available online for free!
In addition to writing and creating art for comic books, I have aslo developed concepts for magazines, books, video games, multimedia, video and more.
